When I was single and looking for a boyfriend I decided to check out one of those free online dating websites. I joined a few, and was shocked when I saw a few people that I knew on the websites.

I got chatting to a few guys on the free online dating websites and I really hit it off with one guy. He looked so sexy and it wasn't long before we decided to swap numbers. For the next few days we texting each other all the time. I'd run down to go and check my phone when I was at work and we would text each other until 3am. He seemed really genuine and nice and we had so much in common.

After about 5 days of constant texting we decided to meet up. I was so nervous, and really did debate not going. But I went, and am so glad I did. I remember when I was getting ready to meet him, I was straightening my hair and the straighteners weren't workingvery well. One side of my hair was straight and the other side was wavy and really big. I was panicking a bit but managed to sort it out. I think if I had left it and turned up with my hair in the state it was, he probably would have just drove straight past.

We met up outside my local shop and went to the cinema. He got lost on the way, so we chatted about that as we went to the cinema. We were both so nervous and I didn't really know what to say, so talking about his mystery tour he took on the way to meet me filled the silence.

After we went to the cinema we went for a drink, and talked about everything. He asked me why I was on the free online dating website and we were discussing all the other people who were on there, that we actually knew.

A few days later he came over to my house and cooked a lovely meal. We were getting on really well and had a lovely cuddle on the sofa together. It was really nice and after that night I saw him everyday. We are still together now, 3 years later. I moved into his house after a year of us dating, and we have gotten engaged.I am so glad I went on that free online dating website, and am so happy we are together.
