I have a friend that is in a really bad relationship, I feel for her because she is really stuck between a rock and a hard place. Her partner of 6 years is cheating on her and she knows it. But she is afraid of letting him know that she knows about him cheating on her. The reason is because she has nothing in her name from the marriage. And if he finds out that she knows, he will leave her and take everything they own, including their two daughters, with him and there is nothing she can do about it.

Early in their marriage, he had tricked her into signing everything they own over to him. He did this the sneaky way, by telling her that he was very ill and that he might pass away soon. Her heart went out to him and she trusted him, and she wanted to do everything she could to help him. Her not knowing at the time, that he had planned it all out from the beginning and he had scammed her into signing everything over to him.

Soon after she did this, he suddenly had gotten better and he was okay. She thought that eventually they would go and get everything signed back to both of them, but nothing ever happened. She tried to bring it up a few times in the past, but he would just get really upset and storm out of the house.

Years past and things progressively have gotten worse. He started going on the computer into on-line dating sites and participating in Internet dating. He would try to hide it from her, but she knew what he was doing. Then he started going into more sites for Internet dating and staying late at work more often. He would say that he had a late meeting and would be home late, for her not to wait up for him. She would look on the home computer and he would be getting e-mails from strange women from the Internet dating sites that he was on. Then the phone would be ringing at all hours of the night and when she would pick up, they would hang up.

Why would a married man be on an internet dating site? To cheat, plain and simple. He obviously was to chicken to face her and tell her that he wasn't in-love with her anymore, he had to go and cheat.
